Tech gadgets: With the debut of Samsung’s robot vacuum and LG’s “smart wardrobe” this month, things are getting interesting in the home appliance area. Then there are the cutting-edge speakers from Louis Vuitton and Sony, each with their own unique design and cutting-edge technology.
Louis Vuitton Horizon Light Up Speaker
Louis Vuitton has introduced a portable speaker to its growing line of high-end audio goods, and it looks like something from a Star Wars movie (think Millennium Falcon). The new wireless speaker is inspired by Nicholas Ghesquire’s Toupie (‘Spinning Top’) handbag, which blends metal and leather with the Maison’s distinctive symbols in its futuristic design.
When you turn it on, a vibrant light display occurs on the top ring, which is synced to the heartbeat of the woofer underneath the cut-out metal LV sign. Its one-of-a-kind design isn’t just for show, though it does make for a lovely object d’art. When placed on its dock, the speaker projects audio at 360 degrees; but when placed on its side, music can be projected in a specific direction.
The speaker manages to accommodate high-quality audio components and features despite its modest size of 18cm in diameter and weighing less than 1kg. Wireless communication through Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2 and Qplay over WiFi, and multi-room setup via a smartphone are all included. It charges through USB-C and can play for up to 12 hours on a single charge. When you tie a leather strap over the top, it transforms into a portable speaker, paying homage to Louis Vuitton’s Spirit of Travel.
Samsung Jet Bot AI+ with Intel A.I. Driving
The Jet Bot AI+ is Samsung’s latest AI-powered robot vacuum, designed to help you clean your home with little effort and maximum performance. It claims to be the first Intel AI-powered smart robot vacuum that combines both LiDAR and 3D sensors to detect distance and monitor location for accurate motions, as well as discriminate between objects to manoeuvre correctly around them. This enables the machine to clean houses more effectively and thoroughly without the need for operator monitoring in each room or location.
It is powered by a digital inverter motor that produces 30W of suction power, which can be changed using the Intelligent Power Control function depending on the kind of surface. Users don’t have to worry about tangles when using the Jet Cyclone system since the vacuum features distinct cyclones and chambers that catch dust, loose hairs, and debris from every crevice. The Samsung SmartThings app also allows users to create no-go zones and analyse cleaning routes and histories.
It automatically returns to the Clean Station after cleaning to dispose of its contents into a bag that only has to be replaced every two to three months. Furthermore, all of its parts and filters may be washed to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
Tech gadgets: Sony LSPX-S3 Glass Sound Speaker

The LSPX-S3 speaker is a wireless speaker with an organic glass tweeter and candlelight mode, although it’s more properly a wireless speaker with an organic glass tweeter. Increase the mood in your house with its 32 brightness settings and two candlelight modes, which flicker like a real candle to create a romantic ambiance. It can be simply put in any area to establish the perfect music and ambiance thanks to its sleek, contemporary, and portable design.
The organic glass tube tweeter is capable of transmitting crisp sounds in a 360-degree direction, thanks to a built-in 46mm speaker and Advanced Vertical Drive Technology.
Tech gadgets: LG Styler
The LG Styler has been available in the worldwide market for almost a year, but it will make its Malaysian debut this month. The LG Styler is a steam closet that utilises TrueSteamTM technology to eliminate 99.9% of virus, germs, allergies, smell, and wrinkles from your clothing, accessories, and even soft toys.
A low-temperature Gentle Dry system is one of its characteristics, and it may dry clothing faster than air drying without shrinking or heat damage. There’s also a built-in dehumidifier to keep your clothes and the environment fresh.

It has AI technologies and strong processors for real-time audio, video, and data integration for more inclusive remote collaboration. The PanaCast 20, on the other hand, offers 4K Ultra HD and HDR video, as well as customised Intelligent Zoom to optimise framing and lighting for the user. It maximises speed, accuracy, and overall video experience while minimising security concerns thanks to Edge AI processing. It also has a lens cover built in to avoid “accidental” camera recordings.
