Louis Vuitton has introduced a portable speaker to its growing line of high-end audio goods, and it looks like something from a Star Wars movie (think Millennium Falcon). The new wireless speaker is inspired by Nicholas Ghesquire’s Toupie (‘Spinning Top’) handbag, which blends metal and leather with the Maison’s distinctive symbols in its futuristic design.

When you turn it on, a vibrant light display occurs on the top ring, which is synced to the heartbeat of the woofer underneath the cut-out metal LV sign. Its one-of-a-kind design isn’t just for show, though it does make for a lovely object d’art. When placed on its dock, the speaker projects audio at 360 degrees; but when placed on its side, music can be projected in a specific direction.

The speaker manages to accommodate high-quality audio components and features despite its modest size of 18cm in diameter and weighing less than 1kg. Wireless communication through Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2 and Qplay over WiFi, and multi-room setup via a smartphone are all included. It charges through USB-C and can play for up to 12 hours on a single charge. When you tie a leather strap over the top, it transforms into a portable speaker, paying homage to Louis Vuitton’s Spirit of Travel.

The Jet Bot AI+ is Samsung’s latest AI-powered robot vacuum, designed to help you clean your home with little effort and maximum performance. It claims to be the first Intel AI-powered smart robot vacuum that combines both LiDAR and 3D sensors to detect distance and monitor location for accurate motions, as well as discriminate between objects to manoeuvre correctly around them. This enables the machine to clean houses more effectively and thoroughly without the need for operator monitoring in each room or location.

It is powered by a digital inverter motor that produces 30W of suction power, which can be changed using the Intelligent Power Control function depending on the kind of surface. Users don’t have to worry about tangles when using the Jet Cyclone system since the vacuum features distinct cyclones and chambers that catch dust, loose hairs, and debris from every crevice. The Samsung SmartThings app also allows users to create no-go zones and analyse cleaning routes and histories.

It automatically returns to the Clean Station after cleaning to dispose of its contents into a bag that only has to be replaced every two to three months. Furthermore, all of its parts and filters may be washed to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
