Hyundai’s portable scooter known as Ioniq scooter is suitable for transportation from parking area to station or to en route. The automobile manufacturing company, Hyundai, has shared an idea about fold-able scooter here at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017. Though the product is not yet available in the market however it is a good approach to the mobility. This shiny and handsome scooter may jealous your motorbike that you already have.
One of the best things about this scooter is its fold-ability and compact size which gets the more attention of the people.
The size of the Ioniq scooter is very similar to a standard skating cycle however when folded it can be put into the front door of your car.
Although there is no idea about the weight of the scooter however the terms portable and lightweight were specifically used by Hyundai during announcement.
A digital dash board is embedded at the handle of the scooter which shows, to its rider, the speed, range and the battery life. Scrolling the thumb switch accelerates the scooter while scrolling it down puts the breaks to it. Additionally, breaks can also be applied using a pad at the rear wheel. The folding of the scooter is so easy that it could be done with one hand easily.
Electric lights at the front and back of the scooter keep the rider safe. Furthermore special sensors are embedded so the scooter starts only when the person rides properly. Charging does not require a special charging station but it can be recharged inside the front door of your EV (electric vehicle) car.
Very few information is available about this innovative scooter. Hyundai stopped telling more about the Ioniq scooter. some of the frequently asked questions which we yet not know!
Technical specifications haven’t been published yet so we don’t know how far the scooter can travel on a single charge.
Yet no idea about the launch date of the Ioniq scooter by the Korean company Hyundai. Even no confirmation whether they are serious about the idea and have a plan to design it or not.
