Gadgets Amazon unveiled a brand-new Kindle Paperwhite. In comparison to the previous Paperwhite, which was three years old, the new model has a larger display (up from 6″ to 6.8″), which is also brighter and lets you to change the colour temperature (just like the Kindle Oasis). It now features a speedier CPU, a much longer battery life (up to 10 weeks on a single charge), and USB-C charging. Amazon also introduced a $50 “Signature Edition” of the new Paperwhite, which has Qi wireless charging, greater storage (32GB vs. 8GB), and a sensor that changes display brightness automatically.

Microsoft’s Surface Laptop Studio is an entirely new gadget. It’s effectively a laptop version of Microsoft’s all-in-one desktop, the Surface Studio, with a display that folds flat — over the keyboard — making it simpler for designers and artists to work on. It comes with Intel’s most recent processor and can be customised with NVIDIA’s top-of-the-line Gadgets graphics card.

The Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio will be available on October 5.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 8 is the company’s newest “Pro” 2-in-1 Gadgets laptop that comes decked out with a couple new-age upgrades, including Intel’s newest 11th-generation processor, an near edge-to-edge display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and USB-C charging with support for Thunderbolt 4. There’s also a new stylus, the Slim Pen 2, with haptic feedback, so it feels more like your writing/drawing (but it costs an extra $130).

The Microsoft Surface Pro 8 will be available on October 5 (the same release date as Windows 11).

The Gadgets Surface Duo 2 is the company’s second-generation folding phone with a hinge, and it’s a significant advance. Microsoft upgraded the screens to make them bigger and better (now with a 90Hz refresh rate). It put a tiny display on the Surface Duo 2’s outer hinge so you can view the clock and notifications without having to open the phone. The rear-camera system has also been updated to be of flagship quality, with ultra-wide, wide, and telephoto lenses.

The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is available for pre-order now and will hit stores on October 21.

The new Streaming Stick 4K features a speedier CPU and now supports Dolby Vision HDR, which is now supported by most next-generation 4K TVs.
